Infinite Being was released in September 2024 after a year of work. The original collection brings oil painting into a sustained conversation with form, light, and color. Taveras’s accompanying statement considers individual experience within a larger, interconnected whole.
The paintings develop through intuitive mark-making rather than a fixed plan. Figures and structures emerge from the movement of paint, balancing concentration with spontaneity. The works shown here were identified in the original collection presentation or in the studio’s series records.
