For Objectives, Taveras used the backs of planning documents from 2019 and early 2020 as drawing surfaces. The series brings the practical language of goals and schedules into close physical contact with imaginative work.
Made in pencil and ink, the drawings often developed outdoors. The original photographs show work on blankets, in parks, and across changing settings around Boston and New England.

Pizza Telepathy, Observant, AR in the RW, First Encounter, Emergence, Connection, and Diabolical are among the documented drawings. The reused paper makes the relationship between business planning and visual invention part of the work itself.
